I'm sorry that I haven’t done a post in FOREVER!!! i've just had loads going on.

I've moved out of my mums house and now living with my fiancée. We got engaged last July but I just love saying that word =).

I am going to do a blog post about that later on.

I though I would come back with a tag.

There's a tag on youtube that is going round which is 50 facts about me. NOTHING to do with books but its fun so I though I would do this. Dont know if these will be interesting but hey! Why not!

1. I am 30 this year (march)
2. I LOVE animals.

4. I have Crohns Disease.
5. I am currently suffering with depression. (blog on that later)
6. I have WAY too many books.
7. I own 2 kindles, one is my work kindle (the old one) and the other is my home kindle (its the paperwhite with back light)
8. I am obsessed with Big Bang Theory and can probably tell you about every episode.
9. I work in a call centre for a mobile phone company.
10. I met my partner at work.
11. I love Disney... I currently have DisneyLife
12. I watch netflix more than normal TV.
13. I have collected Rubbers (that rub out pencils, dirty buggers) since I was 5.
14. I now collect key rings because rubbers are now a boring thing.
15. I also collect Landyard. It started at work.
16. I drink pepsi max.
17. My favourite novel is Ready Player One by Ernest Cline.
18. My favourie Trilogy is Starcrossed by Josephine Angelini.
19. I own an iPhone AND an iPod.
20. I love listening to Audio books while im going to sleep.
21. My favourite animal is a Cat, any kind of cat.
22. I passed my driving test when I was 24.

Book Review!! Angelfall by Susan Ee

this post is going to be a book review, as the title suggests.

This is going to be about Angelfall By Susan Ee,

THIS WILL BE SPOILER FREE {i dont do spoilers}

So this is the image of the book! i LOVE the cover on this thing.

i will be honest with you guys, i got this book because it was the Amazon Kindle daily deal, Hey 99p for a book... BARGAIN!

i was intrigued by this because i love sci-fi/fantasy books and i love books on angels. i don't think there's that many books about angels, or not enough in my opinion.

Now lets get to the review:

SYNOPSIS FROM AMAZON.CO.UK:

It's been six weeks since the angels of the apocalypse destroyed the world as we know it. Only pockets of humanity remain.

Savage street gangs rule the day while fear and superstition rule the night.

When angels fly away with a helpless girl, her seventeen-year-old sister Penryn will do anything to get her back...

So basically we follow a girl called Penryn {i love that name} and she is travelling with her disabled Sister and her mentally ill Mother. already you can tell she is going to struggle.

you first meet her in a block of flats that a street gang are taking over so they need to move on and find somewhere safe to stay for a while.

so fast forward a little and as it says above Angels have a fight with each other and something happens to one of them {I'm not into spoilers} and Raffe gets injured. the victor sees Paige and flies away with her.

So Penryn goes into a rage and zones in on Raffe and takes him hostage to get information about where her sister could be going.

so as you can imagine they start the journey to find Paige and they start to become closer {she unties him} and they just keep walking and walking for days. 

then they hit a resistance camp and Raffe get kidnapped then Penryn tries, and fails, to rescue him because he is the only one that can help her find her sister.

But she does find her sister eventually and she actually uncovers what the Angels are doing to the kids that are been kidnapped and its not pretty!!

And don't worry... she does loose her mom in the process but she just pops up EVERYWHERE!

you do find out how in the next book.

i don't really want to go into too much because i really hate spoilers but that's pretty much the gist of it.

i gave this book 5 OUT OF 5 STARS on goodreads

This is a trilogy and i am actually binge reading this when i can and I'm really enjoying it.

you guys really should check it out, its so good and its fast paced so you will wont be bored. plus the way Susan Ee writes Raffe, one word... HOT!!

My Furry Family: Part one... Meet the Gang

Hey Guys.

Hope you guys are doing Awesome!!

I am an Animal lover. i have a total of 6 pets.

i currently have:

1 Hamster: Tucker

1 Guinea Pig: Salazar Slytherin {House Founder from Harry Potter}

2 Degu's: Sheldon and Leonard {From Big Bang Theory}

1 Rabbit: Harvey {my mom named him, that's for another post}

1 Tortoise: Kevin {there's a story about his name, again... another post}

i did have cats also but there are my moms really but i class them as my own.

2 Cats: Archie and Bennie {i did NOT pick the names}

i love animals and i would have a lot more if i could afford them but i wouldn't be able to give them the love they deserve. Animals don't ask to be pets, so you should spoil them rotten. Everyone says that i spend more on my animals than i do myself. Well any animal love will agree with me... WORTH IT!!

i am going to be doing posts on all of my pets, including the ones that have passed. The ones that have passed are:

4 Guinea pigs: Lincoln, Larry, Lennie, Logan 

1 Hamster: Nigel {BEST NAME EVER}

2 Cats: Tabatha and Jasper

1 Tortoise: Brian {he didnt die but i had to give him away}

i will introduce you to all of them in there own posts.

i will give the living animals all their own posts and the past pets i'm going to do in groups. 

i am really excited to write about all of my babies, past and present. i love them all to pieces and they are all awesome in their own little way. You never expect an animal to have personalities but they are all BIG characters. they are just Brilliant.

My Furry Family: Part 2: The Tortoise

Hey Guys.
Hope you are all Awesome!

This is the second part in a LONG series of posts. My Animals... it will take some time to talk about all of them but they are brilliant.

So as the Title suggests this is going to be about Kevin. my tortoise.
I don't have alot of pictures of him as he doesnt really like to pose a hole lot. hes just a grumpy little bugger!!

I bought him for my 21st birthday. My Grandma and Grandad had given me some money for my birthday that they wanted me to use for driving lessons and to pass my test but i wanted something that i could keep forever and i decided a tortoise would be a perfect thing to get.
Kevin is a Horsfield {Russian} tortoise and they live for about 60 years. i dont hibernate Kevin, the point of this is to get his bits working and i dont wanna breed him. The breeder i got him off said it would just cut a couple of years off his life. so instead of living to 60 he will get to about 50/55. And besides... too many tortioses die in hibernation because they either have some food left in the stomach so it rots and kills them, or they loose too much weight and die or theres about a list a mile long that could go wrong and as much as a little A-Hole he is i wouldnt want him to die.
Sorry if that offends anyone that i am cutting some off his life off but if you read up then you will understand.
anyway... back to why i got him...

as i said i wanted something that i could keep with my money. i know i would have the knowledge of driving but you get what i meen.
Plus i was in a really bad place. i was ill on my birthday {i had Crohns, thats another post} and i wasnt working as id just got made redundant from my job and my mom wanted me to get up in the morning, something to make me get out of bed. i was close to having depression and Kevin really helped me get out of that.
Animals are a great mood booster!!
ive had Kevin now for 8 years now and he was about 2years when i got him.
Tortoises cant leave their moms for about 1 and half years/ 2 years because of how slow they grow so hes about 10 years now. hes getting an old bugger.
theres a little story about Kevin i want to share with you all.

How he got his Name...
When i first got Kevin i was obsessed with the name Brian for a tortoise so i called him Brian. Then i decided when he was about 3 years i wanted him sexed properly so i went to the reptile shop and they told me he was a Girl. so i was like Shit! gotta think of a new name now... i was in love with Sex and the City at the time so i called him Carrie. i think he looked like a Carrie. so i decided to get 'her' a friend so i got Brian {he was a boy and will have a post} and then after about 2 years they started fighting and Brian would NOT stop humping 'Carrie' its was soooo annoying, tortoises actually Moan... its not pleasant!! especally at 2.30 in the morning!!!
so because i got 'Carrie' first i had to give Brian away. it broke my heart.
just so you guys know now, Brian is really happy in his new home. he has 3 girlfriends {i dont know their names} and he can hump as much as he likes and the best part... the new owner kept his name! i was so pleased with that. so hes happier where he is.
so when he was about 7 years old one day something came out of his tail. i was thinking 'Oh My God!!! what the hell is that?' i had alsorts running through my head, prolapsed bowel, prolapsed womb... i had no clue. so i ran into my mum and told her what happened and she was just like... 'Have you ever though he could be a boy?' so i did no more... i googled 'Tortoise Penis' and volia... Kevin was born. it took me ages to think of a name but i Love Kevin James so i thought that was a good a name as any. ha.

YORKSHIRE COS PLAY CON 2016

Hey guys!
Hope you guys are awesome!!

this past weekend {11/06/16 and 12/06/16} i went to Yorkshire cos play con at the Sheffield arena! i went with friends. I wasn't planning on liking it there or even having a good time but it was awesome. i had so much fun and my bank took a hammering!! i spent WAY too much!

little thing, my friend Paige asked Ki, Aleks and Me to go with her. we all said yes of course but i said to her 'ill just be the taxi just don't expect me to dress up' and she said that was fine. Then a few months down the line {we had the tickets booked for 6 months} i was asking her what kind of stuff will be there to buy, and will there any Harry Potter stuff, YES, Harry Potter is my obsession!! then, like a tone of snitches {see what i did there?} it hit me... HARRY POTTER OUTFIT!!!! so i gave in and got a Hufflepuff cloak {that's my Hogwarts house} and a wand. i didn't take the wand as i didn't want to break it. but if i do say so my self... Dumbledore would have been proud!!

So for those who you don't know what cos play con is. its the the England version of comi con.
people dress up as there favorite characters from films, books, movies, anime, games. anything you can imagine really.
the main theme for the weekend was Star Wars, please forgive me i don't have a clue about star wars... only what my boyfriend and friends tell me. The bad guys from star wars {again, sorry} was walking round, keeping everyone in their place. and ALL of the guys was in character. there was even little sandmen {Aleks told me what they was} and she wanted a picture and they pinched her phone {obviously gave it back} and started running away with it and as i understand that's what they do.
it was adorable actually, there was obviously kids in those suits, never too young to dress up, even if it is a baddy. ha!!
There was loads of staff dressed up by people you would know... Transformers, Harley Quinn {the original not the new slutty one} Batman, Superman, The Avengers, Captain Jack Sparrow, Dr who and the darlek things {sorry don't like Dr who either, Don't Hate em ha} even the Disney princesses... i was gutted couldn't get a picture with one of them! =( GUTTED!!!! but i saw, Elsa, Anna, Ariel, Mulan, Belle, Olaf, near enough every Disney guy/girl you can think of.
There was a couple of hosts for the event, One didnt dress up till day two as they was doing a charity leg was, ill get to that later. but there was a Joker... he did a FABULOUS job, there's going to be a picture below. he was brilliant and he hosted a few things and like i said i managed to get a picture with him and Ki, Ki loves the Joker.

This was the highlight of my day!!! its the Oogie Boogie Man!!!!!!!!!!!! Best costume ever and he said he made it by hand! he got mad skills!

Day one was brilliant. We arrived at about half 10 as it started at 11 but i wasn't 100% sure on where i was going plus i HATE the motorway with a passion, im fine when im on it, its just getting off the bloody thing!!
When we got in the arena we had a mooch round and spent a little bit of money. There was loads of stalls there, they had Jewelry, charms, t-shirts, figures, prints, pictures, all sorts!! and there was a couple of authors signing books. i got Prayer for the Blood Angel by Chantelle Roberts. i will do a review once I've read it for you guys.
there was also a woman from Attack on Titan, i had no idea who she was but Paige was super excited and booked a picture with her. she also got a signed picture. she was lovely. Paige met her as Jemima and she flipped! she loved it and even wrote something about her outfit! just awesome!! and there was some power rangers there but they was from the new ones not the ones i grew up with so i wasn't that bothered if i'm honest.
There was a fun display on the main stage in the afternoon, it was Jedi Training and the little kids was fighting the New bad guy from Star Wars and the guy with the spikes on his head and a red and black face {please comment if you know who they are ha}.
we left about 4.30 ish. so a long day with all the walking and excitement.
it was overall a fun and tiring day! we all got home and just sank into bed! worth every penny though.

DAY 2:

I didn't dress up because if i'm honest i couldn't be bothered but i made Ki for Paige but she dressed up as Chara from Undertail {please don't ask me who that is because i have no idea!! i just had to text her to ask! haha}

i met the Mad Hatter!!!!!! the original! AMAZING!!!

Day 2 wasn't as good as day one if i'm honest we got there at the same time but left about 2pm. we was so tired and we just wanted to spend what money we had left. or in my case spend over the amount i had given my self. HEY! we not going away this year so i thought why not. got pictures for the flat though. ill post them when i have them all in frames.
The main thing i wanted to watch was the charity Leg wax. it was for HALLAM FM: CASH FOR KIDS. i'm not sure how much they raised but loads of people was giving the bit they had. that was brilliant. all the Men dressed up as Snow White and one of them got their back waxed and another got their chest waxed... he immediately regretted it, bless him. overall another great day. mainly shopping. we all got to my place and tucked into a burger... YUM!!

as you can tell we had a blast! and Ki and me spent WAY too much money. ha! i think i'm going to do a post about the stuff i got! it was a lot haha. put it this way... between us {Ki and Me} we got 6 t shirts, a mug, bookmarks and a crap load of prints, one of which is Spiro the Dragon! i miss Spiro games! and other stuff. ill do a post about the haul! :)

LA Candy by Lauren Conrad REVIEW!!

Hope you are AWESOME!

Thought i would do a book review this time.

I LOVE books. i am such a bookworm its crazy. 

i do use a Kindle quite a lot but i do have some paperback books.

This post today is about...

LA Candy By Lauren Conrad.

Now this book, i mean first, look at the Cover. Its lovely.

i love the one pink heart on it.

Second, i got this book because i loved The Hills. If you haven't seen the show. watch it IMMEDIATELY!! its so cheesy and so staged but its just so much fun.

Thirdly, i LOVE Lauren Conrad. Shes beautiful and the only 'down to earth' person in that program. so i will buy every book she writes. Besides, her books are so easy to read.

So... lets get on with the review.

This book follows our sweet leading lady, Jane. She is a typical girl next door and moves to LA with her bestie Scarlett, Scar. She is the edgy one of the two. They move to LA to follow their dreams. Jane wanted to be a Party Planner and Scar was going to Collage, or as i know it as been a Brit, University.

OK, so the story line so far may not be 'The Best' but it gets better.

So they arrive to LA in their apartment (flat) and we meet them in the morning after the first night in their very own flat. Jane wakes up and greets Penny, her goldfish. Now, i was disappointed with the Goldfish. i wanted her to have a cat or something but that's just because i am obsessed with cats, animals in general! There will be posts about my zoo soon don't worry.

so they decide to go out to the new 'IT' club of the week and they meet a fabulous guy called Diego or D as he likes to be called and he actually gets them into the club as they couldn't get in, the bouncer made them wait in the cold. Insert the before they was famous clip.
Then when they finally get into the with D they wait about an hour for a drink (not literally it was a long time) and Jane meets her new leading man, Brandon. Hes hot, hes charming, hes got a girlfriend. dun dun duuuun...
Then they meet Trevor Lord. they guy who creates LA Candy. they meet completely fake people that you just wanna punch in the face. Not to name names but Madison! HUGE BITCH!!
So as you can imagine, this really takes off, they get a new apartment. the show gives them new phones, they get famous. and everyone wants a piece of them. AND... some huge and major drama kicks off that really shakes everything in Jane's world.
i don't really want to go into it to much because i HATE spoilers. its really annoying if your really excited about the books.
It is a really easy read and you will get through it in no time. and i feel it gives you a really good view into 'Reality' TV. and i use the term reality lightly.

so if you want a really quick, easy summer read. or if, like me, you LOVE Lauren Conrad then this is the book/trilogy for you.
